Sick on a Saturday

Well our almost 3 month sick-free stretch is over, and Johnathan is down with Croup. I am hoping and praying that sweet baby Eli does NOT get this...I don't want my poor teeny baby sick! I don't want Johnathan sick either, obviously, so I am praying that he gets well soon. We are going to be watching lots of movies today and will be trying to keep Johnathan's activity level at a minimum so that he doesn't get all worked up. I just hate it when he is sick, and would gladly pay a monthly fee to keep him well 100% of the time...too bad life doesn't work like that!

Life with children is rarely predictable...in fact, the only thing you can count on is that things aren't going to go as planned. And that means that instead of enjoying a lazy carefree Saturday I'll be trying to keep Johnathan occupied and away from Eli, will wash my hands and arms probably a gazillion times, and will do my best to take care of both my sweeties while counting down the hours until Aaron gets home from work. It's going to be an interesting day!
